Vampire do not always suck blood from his victim’s neck. The vampire may choose to bite the thorax, the left breast, the left nipple or the heart.

In China and throughout the Slavic countries, it’s believed that a dead body may become a vampire if an animal or anything animate jumps over it. If a bat, flies over the body, the deceased will be sure to return as a vampire.

If an individual’s shadow is stolen, he will become a vampire.

If the deceased cannot be buried, then it is likely that the victim will become a vampire.

If funeral rites are not carried out appropriately, the deceased may become a vampire. If the body is buried without a priest, the person is likely to become a vampire.
