The Chorti is a friendly, yet vicious vampire of Mexico and Guatemala. It’s said that the Chorti are wild men who live throughout the wildnerness in remote places, such as deep in the forests, in caves and jungles.
The Chorti vampires are large and hairy. They have their feet on backwards so that the feet are pointing to where they have traveled. The claws are made of steel or metal and can easily slice off a man’s head with one swipe.
The Chorti loves nature. Some myths claim that the vampire is sweet and a non-threatening guardian of the forests. But, when upset, the Chorti can become extremely savage.
Some stories claim the Chorti will ferociously protect its home, ripping a person to shreds and feeding on the blood and skin, leaving only bones. Chorti mostly feed on men.
